Peavey footswitch question

My Classic 20 has two footswitch jacks but came with one-foot switch. I can use the switch to control channel/boost or loop/reverb. If I buy a second foot switch can I control all four functions?

both take a two button switch?

the one foot switch works in both spots?

the foot switch aint but about $20

lets find out
it should

Yep, they both work with the same two-button switch. I am hesitant that one might cancel the other out. All of the OEM switches I found were $40 where did you find one for $20? For $20 I will roll the dice.

i think they should both work. i have an ampeg amp that has two trs jacks for channel/combine and octave/mute, so its not that uncommon

I got mine some time ago

I am currently using my old Peavey 2 button for my H&K

That old thing
I keep changing the masking tape to rename the function on each Amp it connects to

Had it on my baby Blackstar back last year

having two different looking switches keep them separated in your mind so you don't accidentally turn on boost instead of reverb

That's a good point. This amp never leaves my office; it is used for recording parts for the band, self-practice, composing, and noodling. I am going to play around with some of the switches I already have. That's a good point made by all.
