Pedal Switch Toppers

So these seems like a good idea. In a live scenario Im about the clumsyest mostly unsophisticated pedal user ever. Singing and playing I cant carefully tiptoe around my board I clop my size 12 down werever it lands.
Anyway I try to stick with Boss style boxes but I do have 3 click type and inevitably I turn the knobs with my foot and mess my settings. I tryed taping my knobs which works but leaves my boxes sticky and collects dirt.
So these button things seem good. Now I see they have set screw ones and rubber ones too. Any expieriance with either??

Yep, tried them and don't like them. They do not work with certain buttons, Wampler, for example. Other buttons they would not stay firm on and would fall off if they were not constantly tightened. I got Peace Potis to keep my settings in place, and it worked out much better.

Good if you play barefoot or in socks, but not needed with normal gigs. The set screw ones are nicer, but they eventually loosen.

I've never had a problem with stepping on regular foot switches, so take this with a grain of salt . . . but if I was buying these toppers I'd go with ones with set screws. That just seems like it would hold on tighter. Maybe throw some blue locktite on the screw threads if they are working loose.
