PG+ compatibility with Ibanez V8

I'm looking replacing the bridge pickup on my Ibanez Blazer 825 with a PG+. This guitar does fancy switching that combines one of the coils of the bridge HB with the center SC in position 2 in a way that hum-cancels, so I need to make sure that both the polarity and wind of the replacement match the V8. But I can't find any tech information on the V8.

Does anybody know whether the polarity matches, and whether I need to wire the coils "backwards" from SD standard?

Thanks!

Re: PG+ compatibility with Ibanez V8

if i am remembering correctly then both duncan and ibanez have the slug coil as north so thats fine and these are the colors that correspond to each other

ibanez color - duncan color
red - black
black - white
white - red
blue - green

That's great to know, thanks. Unfortunately I need a black one for this guitar - white would look totally wrong. Thanks though!
