hey guys,
One of LP's is up for a complete re-wire. I'm thinking about doing it Jimmy Page style using a C5 and a '59n.
I was thinking about skipping the phase/parallel portion of it to simplify things... I'm not really sure if I'll use it... I like the idea of independently coil splitting each pup tho.
So my question is, can someone give me some examples of LZ songs where Jimmy uses either phase or parallel switching. I want to get an idea of how it sounds and what I'll be missing.
Also, in the middle position, are both pups always out of phase, or only when the assigned pot is in the 'up' position?
Thanks!
