Phaser and stages

hi

i would like to know how many stages are good for rock, reggae
fast phaser
bright phaser

and how many stages has the

evh mxr phaser
small stone ehx
phaser 99
phaser 100 mxr

i have the small stone ehx but not any Mxr

and i would like to have the small stone EHX with more stages and a brighter sound
to be higher in the mix because my other effects like chorus or univibe have more presence

bright, clear defined sound with plenty of presence and some ability to bend space and time itself with some mindbendingly deep swooshes. boss super phaser Ph2

i can try the Boss model

i know boss pedals have a buffer and not analog for these old pedals
whereas

my small stone ehx is analog and true bypass (i suppose)

i have some amp > true bypass pedals >and some pedals with buffer> 1 buffer > guitar

I WOULD LIKE THE SAME KIND OF THE 2 sounds i have with the small stone

and another features like 8-10 stages phaser

I like simple 4 stage phasers (the classic sound), and I am a fan of the EH Nano Stone. 8 & 12 stage phasers are too 'peaky' for me, and don't get the classic sound I associate with phasers.

i don't know what i like the most except the small stone ehx sounds dark to my ears
i want to change it !
i have a 10 stages simulation and it was good
but
i like the 2 "colors" (for the waves in the ehx small stone ) so i would like to have the same but with more stages and a brighter sound

Tc electronics Helix phaser is an option. There maybe settings in the editor to alter number of stages or something, their customer support should know if asked via email. Its not analog though but the sounds in videos are nice.

the PH2 Super Phaser is all analog with 12 stage phasing that can go fast, wildly deep and offers the bright sound you asked for.

the old Boss pedals were analog

the last editions were digital (phaser, chorus ...)

but the waza craft editions are analog now but they have not made

new chorus
new phaser-flanger
