Phat Cat are really cool pickups. My favorite combo with them was a Pearly Gates in the bridge with a Phat Cat in the neck.
Cool thing about PCs is that the construction allows for multiple magnets to be used, can get some cool magnet variations. My favorite was 2 UOA5 mags.
I'll bet.
For a tone like David Gilmour got out of the neck P90 in a Les Paul for the Another Brick In The Wall solo, what magnet in a Phat Cat would do that best?

I got one on the way!
Cant wait to finally test these against the Gibson P94![]()
I love how chewy the bridge cat is. Don't love the pair, good but not great in the guitar I tried it in. A3 in the neck, a2 in the bridge paired really well in my old lp special

And I have it paired with PG+ in T-style Pacifica. I like this combo a lot: grindy PAF sound in the bridge and meaty sc sound that retains the high in the neck.
