Re: Pickup for AC/DC?
I first thought classic PAF + mahogany SG... But a new guitar is not an option you said.
Actually the AC/DC riffing sound is the combination of the SG and Malcolm's cleaner and brighter (/scooped) Gretsch. So you need to have two different sounding guitars and adjust their tones together.
Also when playing the same chords they do not always strum the exactly same strings which make their sound richer. Tone-wise they were quite clever !
It is good that you have the second guitarist...
I agree with Formula73 :
Your Duncan Distortion output is twice more than Angus's old PAF, you'll need less gain to drive the tube, but I don't think your SH-6 is a bad bridge pickup to play AC/DC. You can still reduce the volume.
According to Angus guitar tech (Rig rundown video). Angus put its volume on 8 during rythm parts and push it to 10 for solos.
If I were in your shoes I would try the Catalinbread fundation pedal "Dirty Little Secret" to emulate the tone of a cranked Plexi before swapping the humbucker.
(But I did not bought it yet.)

I think the amp has more to say about that tone than a different humbucker.
