Hey!
Through the last couple of months I´ve been recording with my band CRoAN www.croan.dk. I've used two guitars on the album, an EBMM EVH signature and a Washburn Dime 333. I really like the sound from my washburn, but when I plugged in the EBMM I was totally blown away by the sound. It was just the sound that i've been looking for, for so long
What I want to know is if somebody in here has any suggestions to what pickup will let me get the sound from my EBMM in my Washburn. Right now it has the SD Dimebucker in the bridge, a really cool PU but not as sweet as the one in the EBMM. I've privously tried a DiMarzio Air Zone and a Norton, but they sounded very dark and dull. There was no crunch/bite in them. Don't know if that has something to do with the wood the Washburn-body is made of. It has an Alder-body. Hope someone can help...
ROCK ON!!!
