Pickup ideas

Some of you saw that I was asking about the A2P a few days ago, but I've since done some research on various pickup sets. I'm most interested in either the A2P with a Custom 5 or the Pegasus/Sentient set. I listened to Keith Merrow's video and I loved both the bridge buckers, and I've heard nothing but great things about the Sentient. I like the medium output of the Pegasus, which means it would roll off good on the volume. I play in both a Blues Rock band and a Thrash/Groove metal band. I like the note seperation of the Pegasus because I like to play weird chords sometimes. Any advice?

Re: Pickup ideas

The Sentient has serious note separation, and is super tight (great for thrash/groove metal). It is sort of the opposite sound of the A2P, which is sort of squishy (perfect for blues rock). But I will say, the A2P also sounds good with weird chords, but not with crazy amounts of gain.

Good to know, how do they compare for cleans? I like the Metallica JC120 kind of sound, and I also like a pushed clean. How do they perform differently in this regard?
