Played with a Boss VB2w today

I played around with a Boss VB-2w today. I've been wanting to get a vibe pedal again, but have had trouble finding something I liked. The Fulltone wasn't quite what was I looking for, the MicroVibe was closer, but still not it. I think I may have found it in the VB-2w. It took me less than 15 seconds to decide I need to pick one of these up.

Anyone have one? Or played one?

Only ever tried the original version. It was not in the best condition. The rise time parameter can be interesting.

I figured the vibe was related to phaser. I didn't realize (though in retrospect maybe I should have) vibrato and chorus were interrelated.

My Fulltone Deja 2 has a chorus / vibrato switch that turns off the dry signal. I prefer the chorus mode and use that most of the time.

As does almost every other Uni-Vibe user. ;) Some Vibes (like the Voodoo Lab) doesn't even have the option for the "vibrato" mode.

Niels outlined the difference between a Uni-Vibe and Vibrato very nicely. It doesn't help that the Uni-Vibe's two modes are "chorus" and "vibrato" either. ;)
