I was one of the beta testers for the model packs and I thought it was way cool that the model packs "factory patches" were more designed as useable patches rather than patches that just demo what it can do. I personally had 8-9 of my designed patches ended up as "factory" ones. They were ones I developed while testing and that I used in the studio quite a bit.
Aside from that, YES! The patches are well worth it!
