Yesssss! Lol yay I hope it will work, if not maximum I'll use the speaker that I have over here, my mom used it for vocal gigs but she connected a mike to it and it amplified the mike. If you could tell, do you think a mike-amp will work for a POD without coloring it's tone? And tell me more about the Metal Pack for the PODxt, is it worth the 50, will it suit my needs, and can I just dload the code that you get? Thanks guys, you really helped me!

I guess you should first try it out with your guitar amp and mother's PA and then decide whether you need a separate system or not. You can also use your home stereo.

Ok guys, well today I went to GuitarCenter and tried out the PODxt with a Jackson guitar. Well first of all let me tell you that the GC was amazing cause I've never seen such a big guitar shop, the one near-by in Israel is only a third the size of the one I saw in NJ which was "averaged sized". Well, so the POD got great tones, just I wasn't too happy with some of the presets that they made. But I already know that you could tweak it to be amazing (as seen with other players here). So I brought my mom's "mike amplifier", and turns out that it was a PA system lol. So that should be great and not color my tone. So I'm so happy now, and plus I could run one output from the POD to the PA and the second output to my Ibanez Guitar amp. I could also plug it into a stereo, and to my computer. I'll get new speakers for my computer and now I could record alot better. Well...I'm a "happy camper" lol, just I need you guys to give me some good tones you crafted on your POD's so I could use it on mine. Thanks guys you helped alot!

Cool, glad you found something you're happy with.

You can't go by the presets.. they are horrible. I could only find a couple on my pod 2.0 that were even useable.

Current favorite:

AC30 amp, TubeDriver stomp, chorus, digidelay. Tweak to your heart's desire.

Tiny Tweed, Tubescreamer, chorus, delay.

I also modified the "Run Like Hell" setting (based on a Hiwatt amp). Great for pseudo-clean tones. If I get a chance, I'll try to upload the settings I use.

Oh, and keep in mind that it will ALWAYS need to be tweaked to suit your tastes and your guitar. The factory presets are never great on any multieffects or recording unit that I've played. However, the POD xt is the most responsive I've found.

If you want a tighter distortion sound, always have a tube screamer in the front. I know I do.

I'd give you some presets, but mine is in repair now. Just wouldn't turn on anymore.

Glad to hear you're enjoying it. I don't have any specific tweak notes to send you, but I will offer you a very important piece of advice: save your presets constantly while editing!!! If you make a change, and you like the sound, double click the "Save" button. Get in the habit of doing this, and you'll never have to do this :banghead: every time you make a mistake.
