Hey, my dream Telecaster would have to be a custom machine. It would consist of a:

Solid Mahogany Body w/ Ultra Access 24.75"
1 Piece Solid Mahogany Neck w/ Ibanez SZ Headstock (Headstock bent down like a Gibson) 22 X-Jumbo Frets
Ebony Fingerboard
Set-Neck
Mother of Pearl Dot inlays
Tone Pros Locking Bridge
Through-Body Strings
3-ply binding on the Body and Headstock
1-ply binding on neck
All Black Hardware
Black Finish w/ matching headstock
Tele Hot Rails in the Neck
Dimebucker, Invader, or Distortion in the bridge

Hmmmm sounds like a Schecter PT Blackjack....I need to play that one! :laugh2:

My dream telecaster isn't really a telecaster, but it's the same familly

An esquire Seymour Duncan signature. Seeing the specs, it's crazy what you can do with a pup and a three way switch. :laugh2:

I will need one of these. I am a Ska fan and I void the warranty on my Charvel for playing anything else than rock&roll.
Wait... The guitar is too old to have a warranty. Screw that. I still need the Tele though.

Alright, I'm not really a fan of the Tele design, but if someone threatened me to get me a Tele I'd pick something like this...

Dang . . . thats the exact same one I'd pick. Then I'd change the pickguard over to make it an HSS. Then install my C5/QP/QP combo.

Your's had a stacked rails pup so I don't know what you're talking about :laugh2:

In all honesty though, my dream tele would just be a normal S/S one, only custom feature would be no fret dots (prefer the look)

But mine is a special Tele humbucker So it keeps the twang. It's like a twangbucker. Well the opposite... er a twangybucker? Yeah...
To me the best feature of a Tele is its neck pickup :drool:

Never have found a Tele I really get along with. Nice sounds, but uncomfortable to play.

I'm building this one, I just bought the body. It's getting a USA maple/maple tele neck and likely a white hot rails/vintage rails combo.

i had my dream tele, now it is time to get another one made and make it better. the specs were a super light ash body, around 3 pounds. maple neck with a thin nitro finish. black nitro body and voodoo te50 pickups. and to top it off all the metal parts are going to be callaham. I already know who i want to build it too, Blueline
