Its got what I think would be the best pickup combination around: P90 bridge (cuts for overdriven rock), middle single coil (jangly cleans and rhythm) and minibucker neck (fat blues and jazz). The woods would be all mahogany (love it on the Gibson, so why screw with what works?).

TC, that's a beauty! :eek5: :wow: :usa1:

Mine is in my avatar. I couldn't find exactly what I wanted (short of paying the Fender Custom Shop around $3500 and waiting 18 months), so I built it. Light one-piece swamp ash body, quartersawn boatneck-contoured single neck-adjust truss rod maple neck, stainless steel narrow/tall frets, Vintique bridge, Schaller locking tuners (there's no whammy bar, but I chose 'em for dead-stability and fast string changes), bone nut, MOTO pickguard, chrome hardware, all-nitro finish (I did it myself, purple body, satin neck with glossy headstock). Teles rule!!! :bigthumb:

Muahahaha...
I will need one of these. I am a Ska fan and I void the warranty on my Charvel for playing anything else than rock&roll.
Wait... The guitar is too old to have a warranty. Screw that. I still need the Tele though.

Very cool.
