That red looks fantastic, and I bet the Custom Custom is an improvement. What's going on with the volume pot? Have you tried to replace it?

CC was a VAST improvement. I also noticed it was a lot louder.
The tone pot I believe has this treble bleed thing, it's got a cap and/or resistor on it (I can't remember). I will replace it at some point with probably a bourns 500k.

if the volume pot has a cap and resistor, its usually a treble bleed network of some kind. the screw in floyd was the way for years and years, there are better methods now, but i never had an issue with it
