Profile Guitar Parts?

DeathALT.

Profile seems to be a popular brand here in Canada that makes budget parts. I see them everywhere, but finding information on them is really difficult. I bought 2 pots from them, and one had a weird and uneven taper, while the other was fine. I've been looking at a set of tuners for a cheap guitar, and these ones were only $30 compared to the $60 for just about everything else. Anyone have any experience with these, or Profile in general? I believe these are the ones I found:

Wow, they even have a french website... I've seen them around here almost everywhere in Québec but never tried 'em...sorry.

So I've had a while to test these tuners, and they're very good, especially for the price. The tuning stability is much better than stock, and the tuners seem to be well built. The only flaw was the screwless design. I had to drill 12 holes into the back of the headstock to anchor the tuners in place, and one of them is now slightly crooked (my fault). It's not a big deal to me, but they were a bit of a hassle to install compared to more conventional tuners.

Seems like they just resell parts made in China or Korea. I don't think there are any actual MANUFACTURERS of guitar parts in Canada. Not enough incentive considering the competition from cheaper Asian parts and quality USA/European parts.
