Re: PRS Vs LTD

and hes SO right about the marshall.
To answer the original question:
None of us know what the best guitar for you is. You have to go play a bunch of them and tell us...so go play a bunch of them.
Secondly....it doesn't matter what guitar you're using if you plug into a Marshall MG100...it's gonna sound like garbage.
Thirdily...the one thing that you can't upgrade on cheap guitars is actual wood quality. You can sometimes get lucky and find a cheap guitar made with decent wood but it's not the same as a nice high-end instrument where the pieces used for the neck and body were specifically picked-out to compliment eachother then are assembled with precision.
Just makin sure nobody's gonna leave this thread thinkin a hot-rodded LTD is ever gonna be the same as something that costs more than $2000.
The cool thing is, you don't have to spend Musician's Friend prices for everything. You can buy used and find awesome deals and get decent gear for not a lot of money.
When I was 16 i was using a USA Fender Strat I paid $420 for into a vintage 68 Fender Bassman head I paid $450 for. You just gotta know where to look man.
