PU for Ibanez RG 470????

Hi there! What PU will give me thicker chunk, at least like a Zakk Wylde or Hetfield Crunch on an Ibanez RG 470 w/ basswood body?

don't both Hetfield and Wylde use EMG's? That might be a good place to start looking. :burnout:

I see...so it'll be tough to get a similar crunch tone from any duncan PU?

Both of them use the EMG 81 in the bridge.

The Distortion, Full Shred, or Dimebucker may be a good alternative.

Check out the tone Wizard in the support section. It will give you a starting point. That's what I did.
