I saw a kickass deal on one of these guitars from a local guitar store and couldn't pass it up. Like what many have been saying when they find the "one", this guitar was just calling out to me and I knew I had to get it. :smokin:
My question is, should I keep this guitar stock or change out the 57/62 set with the Antiquity II surfer set I have sitting around in another guitar? I noticed that the 57/62 set has more hum and is a bit more beefy, compared to the glassy, tight surfers. Which set do you think is more true to the original '62 era? For some reason, they sound completely different considering they're both vintage p'ups.
