Hi I just installed my new Antiquity pickup on my guitar very thing is very right, the sound is very smooth until I turn down the volume a bit, lound radio noise come from my amp.

Can I do anything to fix it?

One more question, I saw some schematic use .001mf capacitor between in and output of the volume, some also add 220K resistor. I understand the use of the .001mf capacitor but what is the 220K resistor is for?

this happens to me also, only when i have SD Tweak Fuzz in the chain. Roll off the volume, loud radio from the amp.

but without tweak fuzz,...everything is okay.

the guitar is shielded well, still have no idea about the solution.

btw,..there are giants antenna about 2 miles from my home which look like a giant soldiers of needles if i see from the 2nd floor.

There is no sollution, other than a very good shielded room:)
That is what you get for having those big AM radios!
We had the same troubles with Russian radio and Radio Luxemburg;)

LOL, I actually have had the same issue with my main guitar for years over my H&K Attax practice amp. When the volume is zeroed but the amp is on the lead channel I get Radio Moscow, clear as a bell :laugh2:
