Well I've narrowed it down to this RG80 amp and the Peavey Bandit. I need something I can practice with at home and can do gigs with. RG80 is cheaper than the Bandit but I've never tried it. Bandit doesn't have a headphone jack so it might be a bit more disturbing to neighbors than RG80. It also doesn't come with the footswitch as the RG80 does. But I've never tried the RG80 so I would be buying sight unseen. I've tried the Bandit. My brother-in-law has one of the old silver striped models. It sounds pretty good and it is very loud. We couldn't turn it up more than 1/4 without it shaking the walls a bit. I like the tone too but I've never tried the new ones. However they sound pretty good in the videos.
