Regular Blackouts vs. EMTYs vs. EMG 57/66

Which is better? I play a Metallica-influenced style of metal, and I want to know which is better for lows and mids, and for Drop-D Tuning. I heard the EMG 57/66 give a more PAF-y vibe, and I also wanna know if that's true or not. Also, Do the regular Blackouts have more lows or is that just a rumor? Thanks!

There is the James Hetfield JH "Het" set by EMG. Can't get much more Metallica influenced than that.
If you are after Metallica styled metal I would vote for the Het Set.
