Well .... does it have led under the tube ? to make it brighter? I love Ibanez pedals but is it a really used 12ZX7 or just comsetic thing because that's what rich kids buy these days?

They say it's a high plate voltage. I haven't heard it myself, but it could be a cool box. The thing is, for a few bucks more you can have two channels in the TT Classic. So I haven't rendered a verdict yet. I guess I have to hear it. It looks cool anyway.

yes- according to the manufacturer, there's more voltage going into this one. as to whether there's a back-lit LED in it, the previous incarnation didn't have any...

i don't think that leds under tubes mean a bad box. and i think that most of the tube driven pedals with led or no led sound better than non-tube. i don't know how exactly do they use that tube, but there is definitely something there.

I had two PUE5s which had the "old" tubeman in it and I really like the sound of both. I sold them because they were pulling big $ and it was time to cash in. But to me it was the best part of the board so I may check this new on out!

I liked the last version of the Tube King a whole lot, kinda wish I hadn't sold it actually. I'll have to check out this new one... see if it's as versatile as the last one.

haven't had a chance to try the older incarnation- how does it sound like? vast difference from the average Tubescreamer?
