Hi there,
Here is new member of this forum saying hello to everyone. Looking forward to good discussions. Right away I’ve got a thing that am not sure can be achieved but maybe it can. I have been looking with no luck for wiring diagram for my lefty Yamaha Revstar RSE20 with 2 Humbuckers 1 push pull volume 1 push pull tone and a regular 5-way blade switch for out of phase and coil split on both pickups. This naturally applies to other guitar with that configuration such as Telecaster with 2 humbuckers. I am not an expert on this so not sure if thats even possible without superswitch. Maybe some of you went through this before. If you could shed some light on this I would really appreciate it.

welcome to the forum!

you want one p/p to split both pups, and the other p/p for phase? thats do able. there is also a cool benefit in that you get to switch coils on the pup that has the phase switch when split. do you want that on the bridge pup or neck?

Ideally I would need volume push pull pot for neck pickup split, tone push pull for bridge split and out of phase on 4 or 5 (with 1-3 positions being neck, both pickups, bridge) position 5-way switch if that makes sense.

Perhaps better solution would be to have coil split function in volume push pull pot and out of phase in tone push pull pot. Then when the switch is in specific position like neck pickup, bridge pickup or both pickups push pull pots in up position would trigger coil split, out of phase or both in the same time. In that scenario 3-way blade switch would be probably sufficient. Would this type of wiring be possible?
