PW sounds pretty darn good. I think I'm going to have to pick one up and give it a try. I've already got the RMC3 which I love but that authentic Italian wah tone is pretty tasty. Would be nice as I could then tweak the RMC3 for a bit of a wilder sound and run the PW for my vintage wah needs perhaps.....
I picked up a KR Megavibe off ebay by the way Geoff, based upon your recommendation. Hasn't arrived yet but it will be fun doing the a/b with my Mojovibe. Actually I guess a/b/c with the Ubervibe I've still got as well.
got to love ebay sometimes as it saved me waiting 3 months for Kevin's mile long waiting list lol

Veering slightly off topic this time…
Post some clips of the KR vs the Sweet Sound, if you get a chance. I've got a Mojovibe as well, and Geoff pointed out to me KR's stuff. Sounds incredible.

Holy crap, man!
You should have checked with me first. I have a Tremulator I rarely use. I'm reticent to give it up, on the off-chance I'll find regular use for it, but I would have given you a sweet deal.

More hijacking...I don;t use univibe type units mostly for 2 reasons. One, I feel like it's hard to use one w/o people thinking about Hendrix and 2...none of them sound completely right to me! However if I was gonna buy a vibe pedal I'd look into the new FoxRox Aqua Vibe...Mmm...Aqua Vibe...:naughty:
I've heard people use a Univibe-type pedal to excellent effect without sounding like Hendrix. Check out Mad Season's first -- and only -- album, Above, for great examples. McCready has excellent tone, and his Univibe -- I'm pretty sure he uses a Dunlop reissue -- sounds very sweet. Yes, he and Hendrix share Seattle roots, but McCready's sound is all his.

Funny you said that...McCready's use of a Univibe is on of the things that drove me to really dislike a univibe!!!
I saw Pearl Jam several years back (worst show I've ever seen FWIW) but Mike used a univibe on nearly every song...it was terrible and drove me nuts!
That just shows that different people like/dislike different things!
BTW...this has gotten way off topic rom the Picture wah!
Somehow vintage italian wah's and vibe pedals seem to go hand in hand LOL
I hear ya!
Ya know, like I said I don;t use them but all this vibe talk is giving me Vibe GAS!
