Robbie Robertson Last Waltz Strat Wiring

Any idea how Robbie had his Strat wired in the Last Waltz. I know he had the middle pickup moved right next to the bridge but I am looking for specifics. I have heard rumors of 3 way switch and push pull pots etc but would like to know for sure.

I'm trying to figure out how Robbie has his Strat wired. I have heard that the bridge and middle pickup were wired normally and also that they were wired as a humbucker. Trying to get the real story.

Fender briefly produced a signature model. Try obtaining the schematic from the support pages of the Fender website.

my understanding is that it was wired normally with a switch to add the middle & bridge in series. he was used to playing a tele and the middle pup got in the way so he moved it. then dipped it in bronze before the last waltz

How would moving the middle pickup change it's sound and the sound of the middle with the neck or bridge? Would it still have that Strat quack?

the position change will change the sound for sure. ive never played a strat with the pups like robbies last waltz guitar but im sure it sounds at least a little different
