Gear Ho
One popular piece of rack gear from the 80's was the SRV-2000 digital reverb.....a state of the art studio reverb that stood the test of time.
I was reading some info on it today and discovered this...
This baby was used by Slash on Welcome to the Jungle, according to legend. There's also a little known secret delay mode that turns these into an SDE-3000 clone. Just hold down "write," "rev non lin," and "room simulate" buttons simultaneously while powering on the unit. Read this online. Do your own research. :eyecrazy:
I had no idea I could take my old Roland SRV-2000 and turn it into a Roland SDE-3000 Delay unit!!! I can't wait to retrieve it from my storage unit, download the manuals for the SRV and SDE and see what my old reverb is capable of. :scratchch
How many of you own one, owned one, or knew about this?
