Hadn't heard of Nubone bu checked it out and this: "NuBone is a derivative of Graph Tech's highly resonant TUSQ material, manufactured to very close tolerances under high heat and pressure. We use specific ratios that contribute to NuBone's hardness, workability, appearance, and most importantly, guitar performance."

Looks like a beginner acoustic to me...I'm intrigued by the Basswood though...interesting. And I hate painted acoustics. lol

Well basswood isn't exactly maple in looks, and it's a $60 guitar

I'm wondering myself, great price for s starter instrument

Ha! Got that right! Basswood is very plain, although Guthrie Govan's Roasted Basswood sure looks awesome! lol

For $60 I'd be interested in hearing how Basswood sounds on acoustics...but I wouldn't have high hopes. lol
