He has used the Marshall 6100 heads and 4 input older Marshalls,The high gain peavey xxx,Soldano SLO 100,and he uses boutique hand made amps..This is only some of the amps I remember reading about in his interviews.He has used a Boss DS-1 in front of most of his amps for many years.

SOB, no noisegate ... how can you be so insanely clean with staggered delay and SD-1 into Marshall without a noisegate?
