SAVE MY STRAT!! 1Single/1Hum w/5-way?

The middle pickup in my Fender is malfunctiony so I was wondering if there are any cool schematics for a five-way switch with a humbucker and a single-coil.

Something like:
1. neck single
2. neck and bridge split
3. neck and bridge full
4. bridge split
5. bridge full

if that's not physically possible, what is?

However, if it was me . . . I'd fix or replace that middle pup.

Well this is a temporary fix until there's room in the budget for a Twangbanger in the middle

No one's ignoring you, man. We're musicians. We like to play, too. That's what most of us are doing. Or working, or something else. Sometimes it takes a while for someone to reply. Like Artie, he's the man to help you with this kind of stuff. If he's not on, you'll probably be waiting a while, unless maybe OctaveDoctor is around. From what I've seen, Artie and Octave are the guys here who really know their stuff when it comes to wiring.

I can't see a good way to do this with a standard 5-way. The problem is, you only have three terminals. #1 & #3, and #3 and #5 are just connected in the #2 and #4 positions.

If this was mine, (and I do have an HS guitar), I'd use a Fender style 3-way, then add a push-pull or a toggle to split the humbucker. That gives you all those combo's in a slightly easier to use switching system. Thats how I have my HS Tele wired.

I'll see what else I can come up with.
