Screamin demon bridge with 59s bridge ?

Will the screamin demon ever be too low in output when pairing up with a 59 neck ? And how will the 59 neck be a good PU when mixed with the screamin demon ?

And better suggestion for a better neck with the screamin demon ?

A 59 should work fine with a Demon. If you don't like it try a Jazz or Full Shred.

If it does overpower the Demon, just lower the height of the 59 until it sounds right. Raise the Demon if necessary.

If the 59N overpowers the Demon??? My experience hasn't shown that to be the case; though I'll touch on the 59N later.

If you want tightness and bite in the upper register for a strong high-gain solo voice: Full Shred. It is the most complementary pickup for the Screamin' Demon that Seymour Duncan has to offer, AFAIC.

If you want a bit of bottom-end, evenness through the mids and highs, and great cleans as well as crunchy rhythm: Jazz.

A 59 is going to have a lot of bass in the neck spot compared to the Demon in the bridge spot; far too much in my opinion. To temper this but still have some 59 character, the Sentient would be a better choice.

Some guys will recommend a Demon in the neck, I think this isn't a good choice for a couple of reasons. One reason is the increased output due to the extra string vibration. The other? Well, let's just say I'm not a fan; and perhaps that's all the more reason to get one. :D I've seen the LiquiFire recommended for the neck spot. I love the pickup but feel it is too hot. While the character is definitely not the same as the LiquiFire, I would instead recommend the PAF Joe if you want something a bit hotter than vintage in the neck spot. Ultimately I think the Humbucker From Hell is a best candidate from DiMarzio, if not the best candidate, period.

I'll narrow this down to three choices:
The Humbucker From Hell
Full Shred
Sentient

Sorry as i got too carried away... well how will the screamin demon sound on maple alder body ? Will it be like the JB being too shrill and bright ?

Think i kinda like my 59s on my alder maple guitar thou...

The Screamin' Demon in a Strat is a favorite on the forum. You should be fine but you can go down to 250k pots are if you find it too bright.

I have no clue when the Demon became a "fan-favorite," I thought everyone hated it.

I love it though; I don't think it's too bright, but I'm a person accustomed to 1 meg pots and single coils. If you are mostly a single coil user, I think the Demon gives you everything you "want" in a humbucker (more output, more bass, somewhat more compression and mids,) while retaining familiar aspects such as clarity, dynamics, and attack. The 59 to me is a much "rounder" sounding pickup, the Demon more "solid" and less forgiving. It avoids honkiness and looseness vs. a lot of PAF-level pickups.

59n, Jazzn would probably work with it, but I like a single coil neck position with mine. I do want to double-Demon a guitar at some point, and reverse the coil screws on the neck position for a clean look.

Really? Ever since I've been on here it's been one of most recommend pickups I've seen. JB's on the other hand...

The Demon will work just fine with that wood combination. The Demon is nothing like a JB. If you want to drop the top end a bit, 250k pots are a fine way to go. I haven't found it to be shrill with 500k pots.
