I bought a pair of sd vintage stack for my telecaster. I want to put one toggle switch so that only one coil in each pickup is on. How do i wire this so that when the neck and bridge pickups are both on, the two coils will cancel the hum?

thanks

You'll need a dpdt toggle switch.

Connect the red/white wires from each pickup to the middle terminals. Then you'll connect one adj. terminal to ground and the other to the hot of the pickup that the red/white came from. The hot lead (black) will also need to be connected to the 3 way switch on the guitar.

ground----------------1. .4-----jumper wire to neck black

bridge red/white-----2. .5------neck red/white

no connect------------3. .6------no connect
