The top one is a Martin D18 Golden era shade top. I got this about a month ago and it's a killer guitar.

The second one is a Martin J40 which is basically a combination if a D 28 and a D35 but is shaped differently. A very articulate guitar. These are both great guitars but nowhere near my favorites. I also have a Santa Cruz Tony Rice which is an oversized sound hole D 28 but has a 1.75" nut. Great guitar. But my all time favorite is my Santa Cruz OM. SMall body rosewood back and sides and Sitka spruce top. Scalloped braces. Just a dream to play and sounds absolutely beautiful. Unfortunately I cand find any picture if the two Cruz guitars

My Crafter Acoustic/Electric.
On the side of the body it has a panel that you can adjust the volume and eq. This panel also serves as a tuner.

My beloved.. 1999 Taylor 814 ce

a backshot for solid yummyness:

Re: SDUG Ultimate Axe: Acoustic Entries

I don't know if this will work or not, and it's not an entry, but it is an example of why a back shot should be allowed as a deciding factor in acoustic guitars..

It's a McElroy guitar, with a rosewood back.

I left out the adjectives, as they'd be... superflous.

I would like to submit my Gibson J200's candidature in this competition. She's been nothing but joy since I've acquired her.

So that picture is my entry, but I still have to show off the rest of the guitar.

Seagull Artist Series. Cedar top, no electronics. The wide flat neck makes it great for fingerstyle stuff.

Re: SDUG Ultimate Axe: Acoustic Entries

That Seagull reminds me of the one I had but mine had the piezo/mic electronics. Simple elegant look but the neck was too wide to comfortably wield for four sets.

My Breedlove Passport OM, Mahogany back and sides... with herringbone trim, and vintage style open gears.
