SDUG Ultimate Axe - Category 3; Les Paul Copies

Re: SDUG Ultimate Axe - Category 3; Les Paul Copies

That Monaco in TV Yellow is Really Sweet! Which of those is your official entry?

While he has said one entry per person , Ace has stated if you submit more than one it becomes his choice.
Um, well, what do you think? Ace asked to see workingman's axes, which the TV yellow Monaco Elite Mahogany definitely is. OTOH, the "Dano-burst" Monaco Super Pro is probably the fanciest of the four, being a one-off custom order.

That's TV yellow? My monitors might be off; to me it looks exactly the color of silly putty. (No offense intended; I'm just trying to describe what I'm seeing. Does it look anything like that to anyone else?)

Hamer's TV Yellow.

Your choice. I like'em all.

Yeah, the workingman thing made me hesitant to enter the one I did. Almost went with this one.....

Well, this horse is still fit for racing.

1990 Burny LP Custom with SDUGF special forum pickup Phat Staple. I have some newer pictures with two Phat Staples that I might offer for picking later.

As if that thing wasn't amazing with just ONE of those...

I have 2 copies.

2010 Heritage H-150 with SD Seth Lover pickups.

Agile AL-2000 with Dragonfire Screamers

And with my Les Paul

Re: SDUG Ultimate Axe - Category 3; Les Paul Copies

ohh, it seems that this SDUG Ultimate Axe competition became more like 'show all' your Les Paul copies.

Re: SDUG Ultimate Axe - Category 3; Les Paul Copies

Following gentle directions isn't everyone's forte'. :headbang:

Re: SDUG Ultimate Axe - Category 3; Les Paul Copies

I'm not gonna hammer on it. I'll just start basing choices in multiple posts on the ugliest.

Re: SDUG Ultimate Axe - Category 3; Les Paul Copies

And the entries are CLOSED!

Stay tuned - poll tomorrow night.

Re: SDUG Ultimate Axe - Category 3; Les Paul Copies

I am totally late but it's totally my fault. Was gonna upload this last night but was too tired. :smack: Ace... I know this won't be considered for the vote, but I wanted to share my working-man's Les Paul anyway. Ladies and gentleman, I give you: Pandora. Black Epi LP Standard w/Duncan Custom and Slash A2P. Sperzels and a Tone Pro's bridge give her a kick, and the pickguard gives her the persona I had in mind. Not pretty and dazzling, but all-kinds of classic rock-and-roll badassery!

Ohhhhh I remember this now.

Cause for complaint? Kinda yeah.

Does it excuse the hissy fit? Nope.

Does any of this matter at all? Hell no.

Re: SDUG Ultimate Axe - Category 3; Les Paul Copies

Exactly.

Aren't there some Bad Ass guitars in this thread though? :headbang:

Re: SDUG Ultimate Axe - Category 3; Les Paul Copies
