SDUG Ultimate Axe - Category 9; Teles ENTRIES

Aceman

I am your doctor of love!
Here it is all of you original plank fans! Bring the Tele awesomeness!!!!

BRAND IS NOT A FACTOR: Fender, Squier, Kramer, Jackson, whatever! Pretty simple, completely in the spirit of the Tele itself! Just make it a Tele....

I know there is a LOT of Tele awesomeness out there. REPRESENT!!!!!!

Re: SDUG Ultimate Axe - Category 9; Teles ENTRIES

Can't offer much this time around, but here's the MIM Classic Players 'Baja' back in the UK. As I'm back home next week for a few days, I might try to get a better shot of it, assuming entries are still open.

Re: SDUG Ultimate Axe - Category 9; Teles ENTRIES

Here's my Wayne Guitar super T built for Dave Kilminster who notably played with Guthrie Govan and recently Roger Waters. Not a traditional Tele by any stretch of the imagination but if you're a Floyd user one of the best guitars you'll ever play .

Homebuilt Tele, no-name neck, friend-built 1-piece ash body with quilted maple top, SD Broadcaster/Fralin Blues Special pickups and a 4-way switch...

Don, I still love the look of that Wayne Tele... :)

Re: SDUG Ultimate Axe - Category 9; Teles ENTRIES

ooh - I rember that Birdseye goodness! And of course Stevie has more great Tele's. That Blue Warmoth is a Tele for all time...

I'll need to check if there was a Fender winner also.

Here's my 1992 Fernandes Telecaster. Japan domestic market only. Fernandes TE-60, Year 1992, 8th production model, as it was told to me by a TDPRI member. It sports Rutter's saddles, Bourns pots, Good-All PIO tone cap, Dimarzio Twang King neck pickup and Frettech Cavalier Lion bridge pickup.

The start of my "If you want it done right, you gotta do it yourself" downfall: My MightyMite Tele

MightyMite body, neck and bridge. P'ups are Fender CS: Twisted Tele neck, and a Nocaster bridge. 4 way wiring, with a mini-varitone - the switch swaps between capacitors on the tone control.

Re: SDUG Ultimate Axe - Category 9; Teles ENTRIES

See some old friends, and some new. And it's still early.

Going to be interesting to see the internal Fender vs Others, Hot Rods vs Plain Janes...
