My white strat used to have this combo. I agree... H-X-S is my favorite strat combo, and I'm looking to get one back in the rotation. For a pic of that white strat in H-X-S with a different guard, go here (I don't want to add confusion to the thread

I have to add, and echo previous sentiments... I don't envy Aceman's decision at all. There are some seriously awesome axes in this thread.
One thing I appreciate about the super strats and refins, and eventually the one-off and custom categories, are seeing the individual character that we all add to our guitars. No offense to the past winners from other polls, but most of these guitars aren't simply "off the wall" showpieces. They are awesome guitars because their owners have made them that way.

Thats not nice... Its not my fav color, but that guitar is USA made and a freaking amzing player. (designed by Grover Jackson) Not to mention Ascension can play the quilt off that thing...

nah brah. lets not get our feelings easily hurt.Ascenscion has some great guitars...no one can deny that. Just calling it like I see it. lets not be too sensitive and have some fun and be real with our thoughts insetad of sugarcoating stuff. True.. there is a p[lace for the "if you can't say something nice dont say iot at all" thing, but I'd like to think we as a collective soul can have some latitude with our true feelings to the point of saying something like i said , not at all meaning to be hurtfull, but rather maning to just sit around and bs about guitars. Trust me..if you were my friend around here , I'd have no problem telling you face to face what I said, and you would probably get pissed at me, and we'd argue, but what are friends for?

LOL! Im a big boy. Ive been married 20plus years and have had to develop some thick skin.. I was just pointing out the beauty of that guitar that it can rip and tossing its owner some praise. If we all didnt like different things, there would be one style and color of everything. No sweat brah!

Well, it feels pretty super to me. We know I love the P-90 goodness. And it sure as heck LOOKS pretty super.
But there can only be ten...lot's of really SUPER strats in this thread....we'll see.....
