I am easing into my new set-up. I went out and got the Line6 POD xt live. I dig it. I need some more time with it, but I like it.
Still trying to sell my old gear. It's about to hit the Bay. (Shipping a 4x12 cab.. is it worth it?)
I am thinking of downsizing to a 2x12 cab. Where are some good places to look?
My plan is POD>Power Amp>2x12 cab.
I have yet to buy the power amp, but I am thinking about picking up the Crate power block. A friend of mine runs a similiar set-up and I dig it.
Anyways... looking for a 2x12 cab. What all do I need to consider? Open back, closed back, 3/4.. What are some brands to look for? Both build and speaker brand. Pros and cons and such.
I currently have two 4x12 cabs a peavey and crate which I am trying to sell.
