I have a Dean USA Michael Schenker model. It looks great, nice B&W flame painting.
But my concern was that I am not a fan of the stock pickups called Lights Out, which is Schenker signature.
That pickups should be great with heavy metal or solo player like Michael Schenker himself.
I play more on rythm in alternative & punk genre. Or classic rock like AC/DC with overdrive / crunch gain.
So I decided to change the pickups and I am thinking of Seth Lover, because I have a good experience with Ant. in my old BFG.
Ant. is still considerable, but my V is so shinny and looks morden that I better take shinny cover if both Seth Lover and Ant. are similar.
(It may sound stupid, but take a look at the pic of my guitar. It doesn't match with Ants' look.

Here is my question. Anyone has tried Seth Lover or Antiquity on Flying V?
Mine is Dean, but I guess it should be similar to Gibson's Flying V
For your understanding, in my ears, Lights Out pick ups are very similar with 496R&500T; however, some people say it's like Time Zone or Duncan Custom or whatever. To me it's just 500T with a bit more coiled. I personally don't like to full stroke 500T because it crushes the chords.
Please give me your opinions, V'ers!
