SFX-01 Pickup Booster - bypass loop?

Hi all,

Recent Seymour Duncan user (sorry - I run Dimarzios!) with the SFX-01 pickup booster. I bought it because I have fallen in love with my new Strat (a 54RI) but I wanted something to add some humbucker-style crunch for the bridge, without resorting to a lil' 59 or equivalent.

The information for the pedal says that it must be the first effect in the chain to make use of the resonance switching. What I want to do is put this into a passive, true-bypass A/B loop switcher. The other loop would have my EQ pedal and/or compressor, boosted to even the levels. See - http://www.loop-master.com/product_info.php?products_id=240 - for the kind of thing I mean.

Will this still allow the SFX-01 to perform it's resonance function? I suspect so as there are no active components in the signal chain before it, which I assume is what you have to avoid.

It'd be easy enough to test - I just don't have such a bypass loop and if it doesn't work then I'd rather spend that money on beer.

So - anyone try something similar - even with just a single TB on/off loop? Or perhaps someone can chime in to confirm or correct my suspicion about it working fine after _passive_ devices (such as a TB loop).

Thanks!
D.
