I'm more interested in the SFX-04 that hopefully will be released in a few weeks at Winter NAMM. Evan hinted around on it (accidently?) on a thread a while back.

I was under the impression that the SFX-04 is gonna be out after both the 05 and 06 or something like that...the 05 "Lava Box" is supposed to be out sometime next month...it's a Distortion pedal, what is the 04 supposed to be???

Yeah, in a thread last week or so, somebody asked about the 04, and he said no 04 for now, but there will be an 05 and 06 this year.

I don't know too much...it's in the same box a Tweak Fuzz comes in, it has a volume and gain control as well as a 6 position rotary click switch (just like the TF) thats called Rumble. It's mosfet based, it will be at the Winter NAMM show and is supposed to be in stores in Feb...MSRP, $149...

Sounds awesome, looks like theyre going for the SFX-03 WITHOUT the tubes, more of an analog old style sound with simpler controls. I love my tweak fuzz with the 6-position knob, might be cool on a distortion too. But my biggest question now: WHAT COLOR IS IT?!??!?!

Ok, the SFX-05 is not a 2 channel box and it has no tubes in it...it's yellow and black with red swirls on it, black chicken head knobs...
