SH-12 George Lynch Screamin Demon

Re: SH-12 George Lynch Screamin Demon

Sweet.....Looking forward to hearing what the cleans, dirty and leads sound like as well as the harmonics and pinch harmonics from the Demon...

Ha! I will try to give a good demo but I can only record out of my processor into my computer–no promises! lol XD

If you had an iPad and a generic interface that works with GarageBand, you could do it that way. That's how the clips I upload are recorded anyway.

I have Garageband on my iPhone but don't like the sound of the built in mic...don't want to buy the $100 adapter to plug in a guitar. lol

I have a recording software on my laptop (can't remember the name lol) that I will try tonight.

I got my interface for i think $25....Made by Griffin.....Works really well with my ipad for recording...

Re: SH-12 George Lynch Screamin Demon

When you say "ton of gain" how much are you referring to. I'm gonna be running through a Fender Mustang Floor unit and I know for a fact that it can get LOUD.
I'm talking about Distortion / OverDrive level not Volume. I run pedals thru old style amps, usually a RAT set at medium distortion level into a Master Volume JMP Marshall set for a warm clean.
Relating to the output 8k,10k,16K,etc it's not a perfect reference for the output. I've found in some cases the wide range of frequencies and dynamics from lower "k" pickups can change your perception of "loudness." I've been able to get a fat rock power chord sound out of 59b, Whole Lotta Humbucker, or JB without adjusting my gain but I found the Demon needed much more gain.

As for a neck pup to go with the Demon.... NOT a 59n. The 59 sounded way too tub-e. The SH-2 Jazz was a good match.
