SH13 inverted logo (?)

Re: SH13 inverted logo (?)

Yeah just tell people it was the result of a Dimebag "tribute" day at the shop.
"things were suuuuure get'n fuzzy by 3pm, so that's when we decided to break the stamper out and have a little fun!"

Re: SH13 inverted logo (?)

Unless it's something that really annoys you... keep it! I removed the old Wilkinson logo from my pickups to reuse the cover over my brand-new SD. I did it using a nylon pickup underneath.

nah, it doesn't make that big of a difference. i just posted because i thought 2 things: or it was a 'special' model or it was a fake one (even tho i never heard about a fake dimebucker). Didn't really expect to be a mistake from factory, since seymour duncan its a 'big' brand, and mistakes like that coming to the market was something i didn't think of

Re: SH13 inverted logo (?)

Pickups that are faulty in one way or another occasionally manage to get past QC as evidenced by user reports to this very forum.

Re: SH13 inverted logo (?)

Yea id leave it as is or remove the Seymour logo. Definitely an odd duck, ive never seen that before. So I guess if it sounds good then leave it be, cause like Stevie Wonder always said "Looks dont make em go" and thats very true.

Re: SH13 inverted logo (?)

Like PFDarkside mentioned, it looks like a printing error rather than the bobbin having been installed 'backwards'. Shouldn't affect the performance of the pickup, but if you're unhappy with it send me a PM.

After he said that, I would tend to agree that its simply a printing error. Thats very nice of you to offer your help to him, well done Sir!
