Please, can somebody help?

I have a Shadow guitar with two single coils and one of these humbuckers with an eq. THe only problem is that the cable in the back of the guitar which holds the 9 volt battery has unsoldered itself and I have no idea where it is supposed to go. It would be extremely helpful if somebody could please take a photo of how it is supposed to look so that I know where to re-solder it back into place.

I can send a picture later, but I bought one from a guitar shop here in Jackson, MS around 1990. They told me that the company only made 700 of these guitars & that was all they would make. They made the guitars to market the shadow guitar pickups. I still have mine & it is the best guitar I have ever owned. I'm not sure if the story about the 700 guitars is true or not. Anybody know? If it was, then we should hold on to ours because there will never be any more.

Yeah bring on those pictures. We are lucky to own one thats for sure and yeah not too many were made.

I had another thread on here with a heap of history and catalogs. i will find the link because its way more accurate than some of the comments made in this thread.

I have a shadow guitar. Will take some pics of it & post later. I have enjoyed playing this guitar. Too bad they only marketed them for few years. I was under the understanding that they only made 700 of them. Not sure that is acurate though. I'm sure they still sell their guitar pickups.

Post it. looking at the updated website it mostly seems acoustic orientated.

I have 2 of them now. 700 sounds low i have seen a few here in aus now so i doubt that.

This is my shadow guitar. Found this thread and wanted to show other shadow enthusiasts. By the way anyone knows which model it is? By the way would you like it with gold inlay tree of life? :P

Is it branded? I.e. Does it say shadow on the left side or is it blank?

Just an FYI looks to me like a JT-590 if you're ever in need for parts/ info etc. Basically everything is swappable with an OFR except the locking bolts (which stick out farther on an OFR).

Brand is Schaller. Not Jackson or unbranded or Shadow or anything else.
