Show Off Your TELECASTERS!!!

Re: Show Off Your TELECASTERS!!!

I'm sure you're all sick of looking at it by now.

I think I speak for the universe when I say I never get tired of looking at that guitar.

Re: Show Off Your TELECASTERS!!!

All these tele's are fantastic. Now I'm getting the urge to fix mine.

So many guitars, such little money.

Re: Show Off Your TELECASTERS!!!

Took new shots of my tele. I recently installed a Dimarzio Twang King neck pickup. Big improvement from the old bassy stock neck pickup. Lotsa clarity there. Freshly strung with Elixir strings.

I don't normally like non-Fender Teles, but that is a really nice looking guitar!

Thanks man! I've played a some MIM Fender Telecasters and this Fernandes telecaster feels and sounds better than them. I got it for roughly $300. Serial number Y92008, although I can't find much info about this guitar probably because it's a Japan only model.

The output jack is also in a nice place!

Definitely. I thought about replacing it with an electrosocket, but the jack cup was perfectly installed, and does not wiggle.

Re: Show Off Your TELECASTERS!!!

Some Sweet additions on this last page. Kam, Kevlar3000, JOLLY and Powered By Toast: You all have some sweet Teles!

Re: Show Off Your TELECASTERS!!!

Eh, might as well - here are my two Teles:

The tux I got from a pawn shop around the corner for a pair of Bose I wasn't using, and $40. The other one is parted from ebay - the body, neck, and bridge are Mighty Mite.

Standard switching in the Squier, and 4-way in the Sunburst, plus a minivaritone - a two way switch that chooses between two different value tone caps.

Never posted any pics since I got it done, here's mine:

Started life as a white Peavey Reactor, only stock parts left are the body, bridge, jack plate, and ferrules. Hand carved arm and belly cuts, pickup and switch routing by my father-in-law, rattlecan flat black paint job, graphtech saddles from a bro, Warmoth 59 roundback neck, graphtech nut, Schaller M6 tuners, home made pickguard and truss rod cover, BG1400, Demon/490R hybrid, Bournes fancy pots, lot's 'o finger prints, and a tone knob that don't match.

Re: Show Off Your TELECASTERS!!!

Very well used (and scratched) Warmoth ash body, mighty mite neck, locking tuners, gfs mini hum in the neck, tb-4 jb in the bridge. Headstock decal on the way

Re: Show Off Your TELECASTERS!!!
