Show Off Your TELECASTERS!!!

Re: Show Off Your TELECASTERS!!!

Wow nice thread, it is amazing the number of different varieties of telecaster that have been put out and configured by different owners.

Here's my 1952 RI Fender Telecaster I purchased back in 2006 during the 60th anniversary of Fender. I just love the sound of that bridge pickup.

Re: Show Off Your TELECASTERS!!!

God, I love this thread so much.

Here's one I haven't posted here yet...

I'll try to get better pictures of it up whenever I'm next near a camera and a computer. Black guitars are hard enough to photograph clearly at the best of times, without throwing a crappy phone camera into the mix.

Mine's sounding a lot better with a pearl pickguard!

Thanks JOLLY for showing me the difference between pearl and aged pearl :)

I have since gone back to the original steel non comp barrels. The Captain sports an Electrosocket, hand rolled by me fretboard edges and a set of handwound Rumpelstilskin 1950 Blackropes to my specs (A3 oversized rods, no stagger. Bridge @ approx 10K, neck @ approx 7K with nickel cover, both are barely potted). Until I got my 335, this was my #1. I need to take him out and run him through the new H&K.

Re: Show Off Your TELECASTERS!!!

Very nice Jeff. You definitely need to take him out and run him through the new H&K! :fing2:
