The Fender types (the Precision is a Squier body, the Jazz is a MIM), both have Mighty Mite necks and are armed with Quarter Pounders.

The Spector is active, with EMG HZs (which may get swapped out for some other EMGs or Barts, if I find a deal).

Currently designing a EMG 35CS-equipped Wal/Jazz inspired fretless beasty...

Re: Show us all your basses then...

Got a penchant for collecting "interesting" basses. My Alembic is my "go to" bass. Always does what I need it to do. I gig with a variety of different people so it helps to have a variety of basses. I do stuff with a biker band that likes to do Deep Purple stuff so the Ric comes in handy and I do acoustic gig as well. That's my story when some one asks me why I need so many. Truth is, I just like collecting them! Soon as I figure out how to post pix I'll put them on.

Here's my current line-up: Fender US Special P-Bass, Fender Japanese 51 P-Bass, Epiphone T-Bird and my beat-up trusty old MIM P-Bass equipped with SD Quarter-pounds… I looooove my vintage Ampeg V4B head but it's a pain in the $%?&* to move so I got a cool little Ashdown Blue 180 for light gigs and practice...

Re: Show us all your basses then...

Well, here's a few pics of mine, I'll try to get the rest shortly.

Yeah, this one... Well, um, yeah. It served me well for 20 or so years, from my hardcore punk days through playing on the worship team at church as recently as 18 months or so ago. Finally the neck wore out, it developed a huge hump at the joint and the frets don't amount to much more than a good idea anymore so it was retired. It sports SQ Active EQ's running at 9 volts. In it's day it ran Dean Markley Blue Steels then GHS Contact Core Steels. No wonder the frets disappeared.

This bass replaced the one above, a Squier P-Bass Special from the late 90's or so. It sports Lightning Rods at 18 volts and was converted to all black hardware ala Adrian Smith. It is strung with Dean Markley Helix.

Jackson JS3VQM in trans black with stock pups. It's preferred string so far are D'Addario XL nickels, 45-145. Yeah, that a big string but it sounds awesome.

Yeah, I like 'em four on a side....
