SIB mr. echo any good?

Re: SIB mr. echo any good?

I picked up one a few weeks ago, and I like it. It has a very nice analog tone but digital-quiet noise performance with batteries or the right 9V AC adapter. It goes through batteries mighty quick -- like Lays potato chips or M&M's. It didn't like my Visual Sounds OneSpot AC adapter, but it's quiet as a mouse with my new Fulltone FPS-1 AC adapter. It preserves the guitar's tone very well when active and is true-bypass when inactive. It does a nice slapback, a good "Red House", and adds a nice ambience without washing away your tone. All in all, it's a better unit than my 25-year old EH Memory Man, and the price is right.

For what I need, the Line 6 does the job, but the SIB and the T.Rex Replex do look pretty cool. Haven't tried either yet.
