Re: Slash's Pedal Board

Thanx for posting !

Would love to hear the song he is using the Blue Box on.
Will most likely be for a solo and not rythym.

Re: Slash's Pedal Board

Wow I always liked how Slash used the amp. This catches me off guard. I guess I can only like Jerry Cantrell now haha.

Re: Slash's Pedal Board

Slash has used a pedal board amd/or a rack for years...so does Cantrell...

Here is Jerry's rig...

Re: Slash's Pedal Board

Yeah I was just joking. Both still use the amp for overdrive though. I use effects too but not dirt boxes.

Re: Slash's Pedal Board

what is the KFK?? Im guessing Kerry F'ing King?? Prob a dirt pedal there.. ??

How is the mxr chrorus?? I have the same trem pedal and phase 90

Re: Slash's Pedal Board

The KFK is a Signature Kerry King Q-Zone.

That chorus pedal is pretty good actually...I hate that it's 18 volts but past that I have no issues with it...

Re: Slash's Pedal Board

That's cool, I never pegged Slash as one for pedals (other than wah of course). I'd also love to know how/when he uses the blue box . . . those are very strange pedals.

Pitchblack!

Next time someone says pros prefer the TU-2, I will point them to this thread.

Pretty good board overall. Nothing to boutique-y, but that's exactly what I expected.

His old board did have a TU-2...this is just a new board.

The TU-2 got almost all guitar player in tune for a VERY long time...

Re: Slash's Pedal Board

Slash is covering a lot more ground these days. I'm not as shocked now as I originally was earlier. Using pedals can take you from one place to another in seconds wheres as using the same amp keeps you a little stuck in one spot.

Re: Slash's Pedal Board

I don't get why people are so surprised that Slash uses pedals. The first song on his first GNR album starts with a heavy delay effect. Then you have the wah driven solos, and the talk box parts.

He doesn't overuse effects, I'll give him that.
