It's a 3 piece neck. Same goes for body. Wood-wise, to my eye, that looks like mahogany grain.
As you've probably noticed by now, your 1st string is wound bass ackwards on the tuner post.

Now play that baby, like you stole it. Happy NGD!

You've got what the Gibson 70's Tribute models are trying to cop, and here's their current version of your guitar.

SG's have two thing that make you love playing them......the way solos just fly off your fingers, and the way they sound with heavy riffs.

Yours is one that bridges the gaps between the SG, LP Deluxe, and Firebird. SD Antiquity Mini's would have the sweetest tone, unless those pickups nail it already. I'm a big believer in giving Gibson pickups a chance before even considering changing them......especially when they look that good.

Ah, I stand corrected - I looked at the back rather than the front.

Abalone inlays. I think this may have been a custom order

Its not abalone, just the way 70s MOTS looks as it ages.
