So I got to play a Heritage LP today

Went to Guitar center today after work. I was looking at some LP's and thought it was an Epi or a Gibson at first. I haven't played many Gibson Lp's but I tell you if I didn't see the headstock I would have thought it was one. Played very well, the pickups sounded good and it stayed in tune. Only thing I saw different was that the bridge was different than a gibson. I'm glad I stopped in there today because I never thought I would be able to find one.

What is the going price for these used? The one I played today was $900.

Depends on the pups if you ask me. If that guitar has Duncans in it, it's probably worth 800 or so. That bridge is probably the Schaller roller b ridge and I have one on my Heritage, but it has a Bigsby and it's a better bridge than the traditional gibson type for a Bigsby. For a hard tail, I'd go with a Tone Pros. Not sure if it's a direct swap.

Good guitars. Suprising that GC has one at that price. How nice was the top? Was it the thin one H140 or the regular LP style H150?

used guitars at GC prices are a starting point. Work that guy down to 700!

I think it was the H150 because it had the trapezoid inlays. If I can remember correctly it looks something like this:

+1, At GC any price new or used is a starting point. For instance, I got my new Marshall 1960AV there for 729.00 and the standard price is 879.00. They will always deal at GC.
